The Bell Inn at Monkleigh

A traditional pub in the village of Monkleigh dating from the 17th Century. It has a thatched roof, classic pub interior and a stunning garden to the rear which is south facing and has views across the local Devonshire countryside. Currently owned and run by husband-and-wife team Roy and Sally, supported by a small merry band of brilliant staff, we offer real ales, great food and a relaxed atmosphere.
If you’re joining us to eat, then you’ll have a chance to try our smokehouse and grill menu. We serve food lunchtimes and evenings, Wednesday through to Saturday and then our ever-popular Sunday roast from 1pm to 2.30pm on Sundays (sorry – no food served Sunday evenings). If you would like to join us for food, we recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Coach & Horses at Buckland Brewer

The Cyder Presse

Our family run pub is situated in the beautiful and friendly village of Weare Giffard by the banks of the River Torridge. As we’re surrounded by organic farms, dairies, and orchards, we’re able to bring you the best homemade food, local ciders, and ales. Our kitchen uses only local ingredients to serve great home cooked food.
Everything on our menu has been created by our head chef Ian that celebrates Devon’s farms, fields, orchards and coastline. The menu varies to take advantage of the best seasonal produce available, plus we always cook a number of roasts on Sundays. Needless to say, vegetarian options are available!

A traditional historic pub situated in the small village of Abbotsham. Formerly a Tradesman pub, The Thatched Inn has been the heart of the local community for the past 400 years. Set within its own picturesque walled gardens, it really is a fine example of how a country Inn should be.
In our kitchens we make the most of local produce in our delicious homemade dishes. Our menu is changed seasonally and although classic in design, is supported by a wide range of homemade dishes, together with an ever-changing specials board, enabling us to offer anything from a light snack to a traditional 3 course meal.

The Boathouse

The Bell

A village pub located in the heart of Chittlehampton – an unspoilt North Devon village with bags of character and a noticeably warm welcome when you arrive. Occupying a scenic spot opposite the village church, this is the quintessential community pub. Food is homemade and utilises produce cultivated locally.
The pub itself boasts two patio areas, one overlooking the lawns, and both with seating. The kids can enjoy themselves in the large sunny garden containing play equipment with plenty of room to run off all that energy while you enjoy a quiet drink! Adjoining the garden is an orchard. Children can play on the swings or anywhere in the grassy play area.

The Grove Inn

Being located in the beautiful Devon countryside offers us a fantastic natural larder right here on our doorstep!
