About Willow Cottage

Willow is a detached, single-storey barn conversion with spacious rooms and high ceilings. With a private enclosed garden and access to a shared play area, there's loads of space for your little ones. Awarded Five Star Gold by Visit England.

All of our cottages have been thoughtfully converted from farm buildings, retaining many of the original and attractive features. The kitchens are very well equipped and we think we have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay!

Check-in day for Willow Cottage is Friday during the high season / school holidays. Out of high season the check-in day is flexible.

Living & Kitchen Area

An extremely spacious, light filled, open plan living, kitchen and dining area with high ceilings; and patio doors leading out to the garden.

Furnished & decorated in a contemporary style, with two three-seater leather sofa and a comfortable single leather armchair with foot stool.

Kitchen
The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you need even including a bread-maker and Nespresso machine / milk frother.

There is a large oak dining table with six chairs.

Master Bedroom
A large bedroom with a king-size bed.

Second Bedroom
A twin bedroom with two single beds.

Staying with a baby
There is space for two cots in the master bedroom or a toddler bed (up to age 5). There is space for a cot (if one of the single beds is not being used) in the second bedroom. Please select this option when booking.

Bathroom
Includes a whirlpool bath and separate shower cubicle.

Garden & Outside Space

At the front of Willow Cottage you'll be able to enjoy a private and fully enclosed garden with lawn, patio and garden furniture.

You also have direct access to a lovely, communal, grassed garden. An ideal space for all the children to play together.

You are also free to visit the animal enclosures, gnome garden, indoor & outdoor play areas, fairy walk, stream and woodland paths. A total of 8 acres to explore and experience the wildlife!

For Baby & Toddler

All cottages have a stair gate (at the top and bottom of the stairs), some socket covers, and come supplied with toddler friendly plates, bowls, cups, beakers and cutlery.
You will also find a toy box with a small selection of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Please check suitability for the age of your child.

We also have a selection of baby & toddler equipment available for you to borrow free of charge (subject to availability). Please request at the time of booking.

Accessibility

Access to Willow Cottage is via a concrete yard, down a gentle slope. The entrance is at right angles to the approach and is accessed via a concrete ramp, wide enough for a wheelchair. Entrance to the single storey cottage is via two double doors. The lounge and kitchen are open plan with easy access to all. The kitchen is built on two walls of the cottage. All worktops (including the sink area) have cupboards built under.

The bedroom is easily accessed via the lounge through a wider than standard doorway. There is adequate space on both sides of the bed for a wheelchair user. The ensuite also has a wider entrance and can accommodate a wheelchair if necessary. However, it does have any disabled support mechanisms to allow use by a disabled person at the moment.

Access to the garden is to the front of the cottage, either via steps, or via the concrete ramp and down the slope before reaching the grassed area. The grassed area is bordered by a row of railway sleepers. A seating area is available at the bottom end of the concrete slope.
